Proposed plan:

Make each square 8” (11 rounds)

64 squares

Once all squares are made, use a continuous join technique (with border) adds one round to each square for 9” square x 64 squares (8 rows of 8 squares) = 72x72” square.

See https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hl7qmu9qeozvtqrzmebm9/ASA-... for joining info

To attach the chuppah to the frame, I used my i-cord knitter and made loops for every side.

The loops were attached through the spaces between the squares at each junction. Each loop was a length of i-cord threaded through the space and knotted, then the knot was reinforced by soaking with FrayCheck. When it dried, the frame rods were threaded through the loops.

It was beautiful and worked perfectly and to remove the chuppah from the frame after the ceremony, we just cut the loops. blush
