Dec. 10, 2011 - I started this a while ago, but am just now adding it to my projects. I’m lazy that way. >.> In any case, I know some people who are huge Harry Potter fans, and I would like to at least make one of these (I’m hoping to get 2 done) as gifts. It will all depend on whether or not I actually like my work in the end. First time doing illusion knitting, which I think is totally cool!

Dec. 17, 2011 - The first scarf is nearing completion! I have to do the second pattern repeat, block it, and add the fringe. I should be able to finish that in the next couple of days. I’ll only be making one as a gift. Time’s almost up for getting these done, and I still have to ship the gifts.

Dec. 18, 2011 - Finished the scarf itself! Now I need to block it and add the fringe. It took me a little work to wrap my brain around how to do the second image, but I finally got it. I hate losing time to that. I’ll take a pic as soon as I have it fully completed.

February 10, 2011 - I don’t remember the actual day I blocked it and added the fringe, but it looked even better once I finished that. Sent it off to the recipient who loved it! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of it blocked and with fringe, so I guess I’ll have to bring my camera and ask her to pull it out the next time I visit. D’oh!
