I’ve admired this little lady for awhile now and when I got a request to knit her I thought….why not!
The pattern is very well written and easy to understand but I did find it challenging and oh so fiddly in parts, especially the sleeves. I’ve had to leave it for a day or two and work on other projects to preserve my sanity! I’m not one to give up but I don’t think I will be knitting another one in a hurry! Did I tell you she’s knitted with 2mm needles and in the round on 5 needles!!

6/6/19 I’ve used a small plastic sweet container for the stand which I have filled with weight pellets and it works great. I made her glasses with fuse wire which I found in my husband’s tool box! I also found working the shaping and increases really hard on my hands and I’ve still a bit more work to do before she’s finished.

9/6/19 finally finished and doing a wee happy dance!!
