After disaster with superglue trying to make microphone I used hot glue although this makes glued bits chunkier.
Also I used the bigger fatter bamboo skewers that are about 30cm or more long. Still followed instructions in pattern. The yarn end was enough stuffing for end of microphone.
Added teeth with felt at request of person wanting doll.
