This is part of the Rockin’ Sock Club for March.

So. I ended up having to do the leaf border twice b/c the chart key didn’t indicate that the knit stitches on the right side were to be purled on the wrong side. It was the same icon - it said knit. So I knit. It was only when I got to the very.last.row of the border that I had to look up a new icon which said purl 2 together….but I was knitting. I read the written instructions and…..damn.
That being said, I find the leaf pattern very charming - in fact, I might filch it to use on something else. Once the border is done, the rest of the shawl is just stocking stitch. Perfect for in front of the TV, but it does get a little dull by the end.
I had approx. 20g of yarn left over at the end.
