I love Arans but don’t think I would ever be able to finish one for me. but now that little Tommy is on the way I have the perfect excuse to knit baby sized sweaters!

I’m modifying the pattern just a little to be knit mostly in the round, for minimal seaming, and maximum matching between front and back.

came out awesome. since I did this in the round, I had to steek for the arms. it was my first time steeking, I used the crochet steek instructions from Eunny’s site, and it was easy as pie.

it looks a bit lopsided in the photo, but I didn’t notice until I had already uploaded the photo. don’t worry I went back and fixed it.
