Knitting along with Kristen and the Yarngasm gang, making a box full of 12 (or more) socks. Then I’m going to put them under the Christmas tree, and give myself a present :)

Maybe, possibly, I’ll make a mini sock box for the others in my family, too. Maybe. :)

Mostly, I’d rather knit thicker socks, and I have a good system worked out with Stroll Sport. For this KAL we have to use fingering weight, though, so my first official socks will be

-1. March: Irish Dream
-2. April: cranked some tubes :) for three more. May: finished off the green/pink Opal socks.
-3. June: finished off the purple/blue Opal socks
-4. June: made some socks with pink hand-dyed and Lorna’s Laces sock yarn in “Jamie’s Kilt”
-5. June: made socks with pink and JK that were the opposite.
-B. Made tube socks with handspun. eta: just realized these don’t count if they don’t have heels. They’ll have to be bonus socks! :)
-6. July: finished off the Moseley Park socks, and then overdyed those awful colors with Black. Starry sky!

August: cranked three more tubes for Detention socks next term. LL Solemate in “Sea Turtle Dream” (480 rounds), Blue-green Opal Sport “5101” (350 rounds, with leftovers), and handdyed yarn called “Penicillin” (420 rounds, with leftovers).

-7. Sept: Finished off the 5101 Opal Sport socks. 465y.
-8. Oct: Finished off the Penicillin socks with a bit of Hedgehog BFL/Nylon in Silence. 454y

October: cast on 4 socks. Finished none in October! LOL.

-9. Nov: Finished off grey/lime Regia socks with Hedgehog Twist in Concrete.
-10. Nov: finished off purple Hedgehog Twist socks (with Silence for heels/toes/cuffs).
-11. Dec: Finished off Sea Turtle Dream socks.
-12. Finished off Goddess of the Fields socks.

Seem to have accidentally miscounted and I’ve nearly finished a 13th pair. LOL. Baker’s dozen.

Dec 13. Finished the 13th, and handed in to the Box O Sox KAL. :)
