Update on the nupps:
I am doing 7out of 1 nupps in a different project right now with similarly thin yarn - and on that other project, they work just fine, no saftey-pin needed at all. Therefore it looks like my issues on the Aeolian with the nupps came from the yarn.

I don’t like doing the nupps. They are ok on the rs - but hell on the ws. In order to handle them somehow I use a safety-pin instead of the right needle to grab all the strands of yarn of the nupps, then pull the pin with the yarn away from the left needle, so that I can slip the right needle into the loop of - hopefully - all strands of the nupp.
One more row with nupps and I am done.
I am also doing only 7 out of 1 instead of 9 out of 1 as I worry that I might run out of yarn.

I am currently working on the Edge Setup Charts. It is pretty tricky since the various charts are on different pages and not in the order they are supposed to be done.
The trick is that the repeats are in the Edge Setup Charts framed in bold - but it’s nowhere in the text that there are repeats. So the Right, Left & Center chart are only done once per row.

12.8.10 - transition done, 2 Agave + final Agave finished.

7.7.10 - Ok, I am going to do it now. Months of staring at this pattern and hours hunting for beads. this is it now.
I give the horrid thin Moon Night yarn another try.
