Whether I used the right size needles for this wool I don’t know. I think I could have used 5mm instead of 4, but I am 3/4 of the way through just finished 11 patterns. I am not overly happy with the size of it so will just keep on knitting till I think it will be a reasonable size for the lady I am giving it to.
Just ordered a 3rd ball 200 gm ball! The pattern eats up the wool exponentially the more stitches you have on the needle. I also bought a 150mm needles which has really helped.
Looking forward to blocking this to see how it turns out - I just can’t see how the top edge ends up straight… Proof will be in the blocking.
Pleasantly surprised! The magic of blocking has opened out the pattern nicely. Couldn’t wait for my pins and wires to arrive, so needs must.
