A lovely finish to this spacey, lacey cardigan - I left off the pockets as I figured this might make the sides drop a bit and knitted in the round up to the armholes (I hate sewing up!) I also didn’t include the lace pattern in the sleeve increases until I had enough to do a complete pattern which resulted in a kind of strange inverted triangle (did the sleeves in the round as well) underneath.

I figured that if you are going to catch a loop on something, it is going to be on underneath the sleeve so I am glad I did it that way as it will be kind of a safeguard for catching your arm on something.

I found the band to be extra wide and having two buttons at the bottom close together was a bit weird. I bought big wooden buttons but am going to buy something else I think they are a bit big for the overall effect.

Overall, I am really happy with this project, I love the wool too - was a bit worried about having a nylon content, but it is so soft and warm, I will look for this yarn again - just fabulous, thank you sooooo much Eeva!
