I’ve got some bigger and smaller doilys laying around here and decided to upcycle them. Since I ever wanted to make a circle vest, those doilys were just perfect to give it a try. I crochet a few rows around the doily and then used The Taylor vest pattern (size L) to go on, just with larger armholes. Inspired by some pinterest pics I sewed scrap fabric to the vest and dyed it all together in some dark greyish color.

The white shirt is just to make the dark vest stand out better.
