Pre-blocked size is 11.5” x 48”
Finished size is 19” x 62”
Used three full skeins with 4 grams remaining.

Added a 2nd row of ribbing at the beginning of this shawl to get things to work correctly for right side/ wrong side. (I see this also matches the bindoff).

Here is a video of S2,k1,psso … in case anyone doesn’t know the magic of this central double decrease. Done correctly, it makes a perfect little knit stitch right in the center of the leaf tip.

Yay! I have about 2” done and it looks nice. By weighing the remaining yarn, I can calculate that the shawl will be about 42” before blocking! Yay! again! I’ll have enough yarn for this.

This shawl needs to be done by July 19. I think I can do it! If I can complete a full repeat each day … I’ll finish on time. Then maybe I can work on the next afghan while we are driving (6 hours each way) to the reunion!
