Decided to carry some kidsilk haze along with the advebt yarns —- stunning muted effect

I have knitted in 20 minis (days 1 - 20 NG Advent Calendar 2018) growing the width to a more reasonable afghan size

Now Working on length by decreasing 1 stitch on right side and increasing 1 stitch on left side.

Using last 4 minis ( 21 - 24) complete 20g each for length and first 4 20g from NG 2017 and then NG Advent Calendar mini left overs from 2017 and 2018 during decrease.

A finished square doesn’t work for my needs
so I have adjusted the pattern to make a rectangular afghan instead - much happier.
Building the first half of the square (the triangle) i used
10g of days 1- 20
Days 21 -24 20g were used for length
length still needs for so now the second calendar will be used
