I love how this turned out!
The yarn was lovely to work with, too.

My only mod was to make the final border very thin (2 garter ridges) before binding off. I had plenty of yarn, but because I wear my shawls as in photo #2, I didn’t find the wide band of white across “the girls” to be figure enhancing on me.

The original line-up of yarn (bottom photos) included a purple (Imperial). It was lovely, but once I knit up the first strip of colors I could see that the value of the colorway was wayyy out of line with the rest, so I replaced the purple with a chocolate brown.

This knit up quickly, although you wouldn’t know it by the dates LOL. My cat chewed up my yarn during the bind off and in frustration I tossed it into a knitting basket and forgot about it…for months!!! LOL. Oh well!
