Aug 16: this is such a joy to knit, even though the rows are long and will only get longer. Oh, how I wish to share progress pics. All in due time.

The yarn is stunning. I have no complaints about it at all. I unraveled a test piece (kerchief sized) and worked the salvaged yarn into the shawl. It held up wonderfully. I was a little conserened as it was attempting to felt while un-raveling (piece had been blocked and handled lightly) and i had to use extra care not to break the yarn when undoing the edge/side stitches. Once it was re knit, you can’t tell where the transitions are. Just beautiful to work with. giving it a full Five Stars!
