Finally, it’s done! It was on 15 dpns + a circular by the time I got to the outer edge, and not easy to handle the weight and all those twists getting in a tangle. I wasn’t happy with the centre, as it ended up too pulled in and crinkly, so after it was finished I unpicked the centre circle & reknit in towards the middle with a different ratio of decreases to make it lie more flat & smooth.

But I’m really pleased with how it has turned out - it’s wonderfully warm and I shall now be showing it off lots.

Now it just needs a simple shawl pin to hold it together at the front. Or maybe one of those dpns will do!
