Notes

All for the sake of a geeky pun. But then, I had enough leftover wool to make a quarter size scarf (half width, half length) and some old keys rattling around in the shed. What else could I possibly do?

The face of the clock was the painted top of an old MDF table.

Cast on 33 stitches and knit half the number of rows in the pattern (except where a stripe ended up with an dd number, where I added a row to keep the look right). Grafted the ends together and wrapped round the face. I wove a thread along the edges at the back of the scarf to draw them in, and used spray mount to hold it on the face. Keys are hot glued on. One purchased clock mechanism and voila!
