This week I rediscovered this piece of my knitting history.

I knitted this for my daughter when she was 4, and she loved it so much it was hard to peel it off her for washing. Well, who couldn’t resist ladybirds crawling up the leaves on a jumper?

I loved making stuff for small children; it made features like the slooow double moss stitch on this one bearable because I can still get it finished quickly
