I really like how this has turned out, but I probably won’t make it again, as written. I like the fit in the back better than in the front. I think the straight stockinette needs more shaping to look it’s best. (I would prefer to work it in the round too, though I can see why the pattern is not written that way. With the back and front being so different, it seems like a bit of a trick to write a clear pattern that would allow for that.) I also changed it so I could use some little finishing details I like, such as three needle bind-off on the shoulders.

I had trouble getting the ribbing just right at the front of the v-neck, where it supposed to be sewn together. I’m hoping it will look better after blocking. Also, sewing the pocket edges onto the smooth stockinette surface without distorting it wasn’t working well for me.

Basically, the pattern is well written and clear. I was a little disappointed to realize the pockets weren’t real, and made mine with woven fabric pocket linings.
