I have a friend that only knits ankle socks and refuses to curate a stash. Um….OK.

Otherwise I’d NEVER knit with $30 yarn.

My husband jokes that if anything sits still in my house long enough, its going to get covered in yarn.

Today at knit group they were talking about temperature blankets. Well, I’ve tried 3x to do one. I never last past March. So this is my compromise. ♡

Steel hook Boyle 5. Other side says $0.15. So you know it was one of Grandma’s.

I had to redo the flap about 3 times (too short, too narrow, scallops not even. I’m happy with how it turned out and glad it’s over.

Scallop edge : (sc, skip 3 sts, 7dc in st, skip 3 sts) repeat across. I was short a few sts at the end so there are only 2 sts between the sc/7dc
