I hate cheap acrylic yarn. But, you gotta admit, it’s indestructible.
Besides it’s nice to have no dye lot.
My only grump with this design is that it doesnt show all the blocks in the pattern. You can look at Rav project pictures, but it’s hard to tell which picture matches which pattern block.
I was looking for the x&o block for Barb’s friendship afghan. It took ages to nail down the pattern.
Block. Cast on-Finished.

1Jun22/19. 1Jul22/20. 1Aug22- I had a flareup of “Startitis” and put these three on hold till Sept. I knit them back-to-back. On block 20 I ran out of yarn a quarter into it. GRRRR!!! so I bought another SEVEN-ounce skein of gray and plan to pair it with a pretty one skein of Lion Brand Landscapes for a granny square bag. I think that’ll work up nicely. Now! On to the sashing in purple!!

16Dec23- Started a knitted on edge (10 stitch blanket) with a 3st icord bindoff.
New way to corner
I’ve decided to give it to Carolyn as her wedding or moving out blanket. I’ve got something knit for the Grandbabies, Jesse, and now Carolyn. I wanted to make sure all of them had something special for just them.
