Cast on 30/35?

Cast on chain using 8 ply yarn on its own as too hard with Flurry yarns. Row 1 add in two flurry yarns.

Was quite difficult crocheting with this yarn but it is very forgiving with stitch count - which varied drastically from 35 to 22, 26 and 25! Nevertheless, leg warmers look to be close fitting over ankle and calf muscle.

Like others, will probably add some hat elastic, silicone ribbon or crochet chain at top of leg warmers so they don’t slip down.
