Accidently used needle 3,75 so it’s more 4-6 months in size. Still hope it will fit my 5 month old niece…

• Co size 6 months. Chose to have button opening in the middle back instead of the front.

• Had garter stitches on the shoulders and bound off sleeve stitches.

• When I noticed the mistake(when starting the body) I increased 10 evenly, and then I increased 2 stitches on each side, every 5-6 round to get an A-shape.

• knitted until it was 27 cm long, then a few rounds with garter stitch ending with a knit round. Bound off purlwise.

• update 30/8. It fits! she is now 6 months and this fits perfectly, maybe not for so long but at least she gets to wear it for a while. Babies do grow fast anyway:)
