I had originally intended this yarn as a Flamboyan shawl, but I just couldn’t get into a good groove with the intarsia, and I was therefore not progressing on the knitting. I ripped it out and cast on this simple stripey shawl instead.

A few modifications: I knit a 3-ish inch band of plain stockinette in the Malabrigo (framed by garter in the same yarn) to give the shawl a bit of focus, and to play with the texture. I’m binding off with an applied i-cord (4 sts on US 7s) in the Koigu, following a garter ridge in the same to keep it from flipping forward.

Pre-blocking, shawl was 23” from neck to point (46” wingspan). Blocked out to 30” (60”) though it may shrink back over time.
