In question of sizes:

The model in the pattern pictures has to be a size XS. Petite! I am a size S, rather tall for that, but quite slim. So I felt confident, that a pattern with instructions given for a S/M should fit at least as loose as shown in the fotos. This is not so! The dress has more or less a negative ease. It fits all right, yet with a complete different appearance than I had expected. And yes: my gauge is fine.
So according to the pictures I would state this pattern a size XS/S.
