Fell in love with these charts when I first saw them. I wanted to soften the horizontal stripes, so I took some liberties. Cast on 128 on US2’s twisted ribbing for 1 1/4”. Switched to US3’s for body. Used a different bee chart because I wanted a smaller bee. Working with 3 colors in a row takes a lot of time, but I really enjoyed the journey.

The Royal Bee Yarn Company fingering is so soft! The background color, dragonflies, purple hydrangeas, and all the leaves were Royal Bee. The other colors are odds and ends from my stash.

For sleeves, picked up enough stitches for 3 pattern repeats (72). Added another pattern to the end to make sleeves long enough. Decreased to 64 stitches for cuff and knit in US 2’s.
