Cast on 120 on US 2’s. 2x2 ribbing for about 1 1/4”. Switched to US3’s for the stockinette. 8 stitches x 15 for scallops from Little Scallops Hat pattern. After 4 rounds, knit butterfly from Choose Your Own Garden pattern. Began decreases at 5 1/4” from cast on. Set markers every 12 sts. K2 together before each marker, knit a round until I had 5 stitches between each marker. Then I decreased every round.

Stage 4 cancer is hard to beat, but like an elusive butterfly, you just have to believe it’s within the realm of possibility.
