I love Rachel Illsley’s patterns! She includes so many thoughtful details. My gauge was off, so I deepened the yoke by 4 rows.

Fit mod:
I have a small frame and big bust, so I modified at the sleeve split: back 45- sleeve 60-underarm added sleeve extension chart after the first 15 stitches that complete the first repeat and then added 5 into the next full chart (total 28 added stitches)- front 110- underarm added extension stitches after the 5 that complete first full repeat and then added 15 into the next full repeat (putting the extensions evenly towards the front under each arm)- sleeve 60- back 45. This will put 90 stitches on my small back and 110 for my fuller front plus the extras under each arm to give me breathing room.

Did ladderback for rows 16-22.

Besides switching to US 2’s for ribbing, I purled every 10 stitches together to reduce to 224 stitches. Since twisted ribbing doesn’t pull in as much as regular ribbing (but looks prettier), this made a more fitted waistband.

Began sleeve decreases on row 12 after end of chart. After 9”, decreased 2 stitches every 6 rounds.
