Heavily inspired by this gorgeous work by Nikolett Corley.
Cast on 110 on US2’s. After 9 rows of twisted rib, switched to US3’s for a row of knit. Increased to 150 sts - k1, (m1, k3) 15 times; (m1, k2) 9 times; (m1, k3) 15 times; m1, k2. Short rows : knit 29, wrap turn, purl 29 wrap and turn,+4, +4, +4 both sides. Knit around picking up last wrap and turns. Started scallops: 2 rows (1 gold, 1 gray, 1 gold, 7 blue); row 3 (1 gold, 4 grays including 1 increase, 1 gold, 5 blue); row 4 (1 gold, 7 grays including 1 increase, 1 gold, 3 blues) last scallop row (3 gold, 9 gray). Beginning of multi glass panels: r1(1 multi, 5 gray, 1 multi, 4 gray); r2 (3 gray, 9 multi with 1 inc); row 3 (1 gray, 13 multi with 2 inc). 3 gray stitches Total: 210. Row 4 same with no increases. Row 5 1 more increase in each multi section. Total: 225. Increased 2 stitches of gray halfway through each trefoil. Total: 255. After trefoils, increased 1 more per repeat in gray to center gray between “glass” portions. Total: 270. Goal 300. Increased again, but I forgot which row. Total 330. 8” from center cast on before sleeve separation: back 49-59-114- 59-49. Knit body 13”.
Cast on 16 for each underarm. I decided to keep the pattern going after the underarm split because it felt too abrupt when I didn’t. After picking up extra stitches for sleeves, I reduced to 74. After 12” from underarm (100 rows?), I began reducing 2 stitches every 6 rows until I knit 17” from the underarm and had 56 stitches.
