For the Witch: Regia and Madelinetosh
I couldn’t get a gauge I liked for the Regia, so I’m doubling it up and using 3.25 mm needles instead.

For the hat: using the gumball held double. Didn’t want to follow the pattern as written so I knit the hat from the point down and went straight to knitting the brim. Couldn’t get a bind off I liked to work on the edge without being too stiff. So started over from the brim.

Did not like how tight my bind off was for the brim of the hat. So, I ripped the whole thing and started at the brim. Cast on the required number of stitches with a long-tail cast on and worked the brim in reverse until R1. Worked 1 extra round, then the purl round at the base of the hat, and followed the pattern as written from there.

Added a few more rows of i-cord to the broom before the increase row, but made the rest of it as written.
