Making the kiddo a pair of mittens to match the only hat she’ll wear for more than 30 seconds. Glad I had leftover yarn. Goal is too make a roomy pair of mittens because she hates snug fitting things on her hands.

Mashing up the DK and Worsted numbers to get something that works for my gauge and kiddo’s preferences.

• 28 sts around but worked using the toddler lengths
• Knit for 2” from end of thumb
• Decreased until 12 sts left at end of mitten and grafted closed.
• Working thumb to be 1.5”.
