My original idea of a 2x2 rib just wasn’t cutting it. Started over with the Wheat scarf, but had issues with it too. So restarting again and modifying the Wheat pattern.

• No garter stitch sections at the beginning or end. Ribbing will continue the entire length of the scarf.
• Adding a slipped st selvedge for a neater edge.

Finished the second half of the scarf after taking a few weeks break. Bound off when the scarf was 58” long to account for growth during washing.

Measured after washing it, and it grew to 62”. To even out the wonky sides, I ran blocking wires down the length on each side and pulled them to 7” (from 6.5”). So, the scarf ended up being about 61” long.

The blocked scarf has a beautiful drape and wraps well. Plus, you can hardly tell I frogged several times at the beginning.
