Mods
I’ve made an i-cord edge. (slip last 3 stitches of the row to the right needle - knit in the next row) I learned this method while knitting the Doodler.

It’s easier and look more even to pick up stitches from this i-cord Edge.

I knit the main part in garter instead of stockinette

Instead of yo I knit kfb., because I don’t want the holes you will get with an yo.

For the fringe-border you have to cast on extra stitches.
I used the cable cast on method.
I cast on 6 stitches and cast off 11 stitches.
