I knitted i-cord tab instead of garter tab CO.

I-cord CO tutorial:

And continue with 3sts i-cord edging instead of 3sts garter borders.

Since I am using lace weight yarn, I am goin to continue until K9 YO instead of K6 YO. Then, will be K10 M1 instead of K8 M1 before begin lace mesh section.

Lace mesh (a.k.a Irish Mesh): follow pattern for rows 1 and 2. Take note at row 3, always the first knit stitch of the K2 onto the previously YO row. Then will create the alternate holes. I slip the one stitch KNITwise instead of purlwise as I love the effect more. This is just my personal preference. This is a very solid mesh stitch. Loving it!

HorseShoe Lace MOD:
Substitute the sl1 k2tog psso to CDD ( centre-double-decrease) tutorial:
https://youtu.be/5FS6GlnxWk0

I have 41 repeats of the horseshoe lace; markers are placed in between each repeat. Increases at both ends as usual.

Repeat the 8 rows of horseshoe lace for 5 times instead of 3s.

Then, I brioche knitted for 12 rows because the size of the shawl still small even after 5 repeats. If I continue horseshoe lace, the edge will be too light and tends to curl. Brioche is perfect as it added weigh to the edges. Finished with i-cord bind-off.

The colour of this Arco iris is pretty dull. Quite disappointed.

Other pros of this yarn/shawl:
Soft. Warm. Light.
