3mm needles for the earflaps and brim with Lanett Babyull. Earflaps to 17 stitches then garter ridge for one inch. To create the brim, 17 stitches of earflap, 18 stitches nape of neck, 17 stitches 2nd earflap and 36 stitches forehead, 88 stitches.
Body of hat with Regia sock yarn, 2.75mm needles (US2) with an increase to 96 stitches. Knit to ~3 3/4”
Crown decreases from Rox Socks. With a plan for 5 1/2 inch cast on to closing and 10 rows per inch, decrease over 18 rows as follows:

Knit 3 rows
