I decided to take the challenge and work this pattern with two different color change yarns. It turned out really great with the two color changes staying in synch for the entire scarf.

The yarn itself is a single-ply 100% wool that’s lovely and soft. No dye running when I washed it, which was nice given the scarf has 10 different colors.
