My friend Vilma gave me the yarn and pattern for this and got me started. This was a big time breakthrough project! Lots of firsts here - first magic loop (yes I did ML instead of DPNs), first cabling, first sock yarn, first addi lace needles, first small size needles at that (!), first fingerless mitts (or any mitts for that matter), etc. I loved working on these. They’re super fun and pretty quick. Yes, they have mistakes in them, but I don’t care. I’m still very proud of them! Everyone says I’m officially not a beginner anymore after this project…LOL
