This project was another commission for my bf’s Mom. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I’m just now blocking it and it should be to her by next week. I actually finished the “first version” by Thanksgiving but the measurements were all wrong and it was MUCH too small. (Like 42” width instead of 74”)

I frogged the entire project and started over, doubling the number of rows in every stripe. I finished my second effort by the 26th and blocked it but the bind off row was too tight and I still couldn’t get it to the right size and shape.

Take 3! I learned a new bind off and re-did the final row and re-blocked her, now she’s lovely and as soon as she dries I’ll get some nice photos of it on my dressmaker’s dummy. Then she’s off to her final destination!
