Finished! With 5 minutes to spare…
But, it doesn’t fit quite right. Time to troubleshoot!
Sweater Gauge:
First blocking led to 27 sts x 36.5 rows = 4”
I was able to reblock to proper gauge and measurements.
Fit Pictures:
Bottom half fits just fine, so I think it’s an issue with my upper torso or armhole depth measurement, or both.
Asking for help in the Troubleshoot that sweater! thread in the CustomFit group.
Confirmed:
Armhole depth should be shorter. To compensate, I need to increase my “armhole to waist” measurement. Upper bust may need to be decreased, or might be fine as is.
I’ll only fix armhole depth, as then I know for sure if that was it.
Thanks to awesome customer service, I now have modified instructions for shorter armhole depth! Yay!
The actual pattern itself and the online generator is fantastic, it just takes some effort to make sure all your measurements are right! The customer service (and community!) for CustomFit is also great, and are very quick and helpful with any questions.
