My choice of yarn was inspired by this lovely Annis.
I am knitting it a bit longer and more shallow as suggested in knittimo’s Emerald Annis.

15-02-2013:
CO 459 sts with 6 mm needles using the backward loop cast on and purled a row over it. Finished row one with correct stitch count - I am on!

16-02-2013:
I am on the second “nupp row”. I am knitting the nupps as suggested in the pattern, not using any special method or a crochet hook.

17-02-2013:
Finished lace section. Onto short rows. I switched to 5 mm needles for the stockinette section.

18-02-2013:
Finished and off the needles. 6 grams remain.
I had 3 stitches left on each side. I just knitted to the end of each row and bound off knitwise with an applied i-cord bindoff using 4.5 as per pattern with 4 mm needles.

21-02-2013:
I found a snag (half knitted stitch) way down in the stockinette section, so I opened the bindoff and corrected it. As the i-cord bindoff caused the shawl to roll a lot and was too wide, I changed it to the bindoff described in the pattern, using 4 mm needles to make it tighter.
