I will cast on with 6 mm needles and knit with 4.5 mm needles. I am still after this “lacy lace effect” which I cannot seem to achieve. Maybe after 10 more shawls…

Same size as the previous Annis, just using lace yarn. Nearly finished - very curious about the outcome. I have never knitted lace with 4.5 mm needles before…
Oh, and I did not wrap the short rows this time (had to try it out this way) but I like them better wrapped.

What I learned when knitting “nupps”:
In the last 7 days I knitted 370 nupps :) I knitted them as described in the pattern - increase to 7 stitches in one row, and then purl over 7 stitches in the next row to decrease 7 stitches to 1. What I found worked really well was to make the yarnovers and stitches large enough to fit a 4.5 mm knitting needle into all 7 stitches easily. It was like, I had to “trust my own knitting”.

Oh my god, it is so gorgeous, I don’t even dare to touch it! ♥
