Notes

I like lace - especially lace edgings or lace trims.
I also like simplicity.

To combine both I have thought up a simple shawl with a wide (complicated) true lace edging.

Just like a simple piece of cloth enhanced by an elaborate lace trim.

A fully reversible shawl with a simple body and a wide elaborate knitted-on lace edge.

I have used a Shetland fingering weight yarn in saxe blue for the prototype.

The blocked shawl is 66” (168 cm) wide and 38” (97 cm) long. I knitted 42 repeats of the Normandy Lace edge.

Shawl #21 for 2013 (last one for this year)
