This shawl has been knit many times, so I shan’t add any notes, just one thing: It LOOKS easy, but I for my part find it much more difficult to make than other shawls I have knitted. If you forget to knit ONE of the increases anywhere, your lace stitch count is out. Happened to me and I had to frog one whole section in order to get to the correct stitch count again.

04-10-2013:
5 repeats so far. I intend to make 8. I want a big shawl. With one ball of yarn I got to 4 repeats and a bit. So lets see how much I need for 8.

After duplicating and learning the pattern, most of it is nice TV knitting :)

6 repeats done. One to go :)

16-10-2013:
I finished at 7 full repeats plus lace edge. Bound off with a stretchy bind-off suggested in this and many other projects by Marisa Hernandez.

Blocking now - estimated size after blocking will be 77.5” tip to tip x 33” top to bottom (196 cm x 84 cm).

Final Note:
It is nice, soft, big and warm. I don’t want to take it off :)
