This will be a pair of “toast” arm warmers and a cowl each for my Japanese friends in their chosen colour.

Orange for Hiroko
Purple for Miyuki
Pink for Yasuyo

Toasts knitted with one strand of alpaca and one strand of kidsilk.

• Orange pair used up 31 grams of alpaca and 17 grams of kidsilk.
• Light pink pair used up 28 grams of alpaca and 16 grams of kidsilk.
• Purple pair used up 33 grams of alpaca and 15 grams of kidsilk.

Due to my method of weaving in ends I have 48(!) strands to weave in on the toasts (x_x)’

Note to self:
40 stitches x 82 rows, 3.5 mm needles, 1 strand of kidsilk and one strand of alpaca held together.
