Knitting the body/head in the round after knitting the legs flat separately as per pattern. Will also knit arms,boots,cuffs,skirt and bonnet in the round.Sewed leg seams closed when I got up to the waist and now stuffing as I go.

Body finished and stuffed. Neck shaped.

Boots knitted and sewn.

Boot tops knitted and sewn up. Used fluffy yarn for contrast.4 rows st.st.

Nose knitted. knitting arms in the round.

Arms and mittens completed. Cast on 80 sts for hat in the round.

Picked this up again. Boots stuffed and sewn on. Boot cuffs sewn on. Mittens and arms stuffed and sewn together.

Cast on for the skirt. 120 sts on 3mm needle. Knitting in the round.

Skirt finished and sewn on. Arms sewn on. Face done and hat sewn on. Still have patches on skirt and boots and shawl with holly/berries decoration left to do.

2 patches done on boots, 3 patches on skirt. Shawl knitted G.S. on 5mm needles, cast on 7 sts. for base, then increased kfb every 2nd row until 27 sts. then every row until 48 sts. Next knit (2tog)x2 in centre of row, then increased at sides till 50 sts. cast off knitting 2tog at shoulders. Made holes where ever. Sewn on. 2 holly leaves completed.
