My love affair with leaf yoke cardigans continues :-). I chose the pattern because I loved the look. Not once thinking about who I was making it for. As I continued, it became obvious it had to be for my granddaughter, who is a petite 15mth old. And so length mods were made to accommodate her - :-( its a little big hahaha, more like a 5-6yr old

But it was a challenge at times towards the end of the lace part.

And of course I had to use BWM Leaf for the yarn ;-)

Mods -

• Did not change needle size and went up needle size to 3.5mm
• I don’t like picot edging and I wanted something plain to compliment the lace, so a 8 row garter border.
• I added 10 stitches to cast on, 5 stitches for each band. I believe the CO should be 58sts
• Worked the sleeves flat and to 17cm before doing decreases of K2tog, K2 repeat , knit 7 rows of stst, 8 rows of garter, stretchy bind off
• Skirt is worked in one piece to 23cm, 8 rows of garter, bind off

This should give her plenty of room for growth
