have come up with a nice selection of blue-based colours to play with, including some handspun dyed with fennel and some splashes of colour from pinks and reds dyed with cochineal and Brazil wood.

1st diagonal lacy rib section done 18th March: Enjoyed this once I got into the swing of it. Main colour was tide pool heather and handspun grey/green with hits of multi-coloured Zauberball and Alegria.

17 Apr it’s slow going: seed stitch section done, started brioche. I’m new to this stitch and at first found it super-fiddly especially with two strands. I’m getting the hang of it now though using mohair and Alegria.

28th April have finished the garter stitch section 4, using Angel Prints and Stroll.

7th May had lovely time with Allegra & mohair in small section 5. Switched to dark blue-black Rialto sock and angel prints mohair for final large seed stitch section.
