June 21- FINISHED!!! I would have completed it last night, but I passed out (like I do)! I’m so proud of myself!!! It shouldn’t have taken quite so long, but I let it linger for several weeks before I found my knitting mojo again. LOVE IT! ^_^
June 14- After many lonely weeks of languishing in WIP land, I finally picked this beauty up again. I knit through From Russia With Love and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. And here we are… Hopefully I’ll stop being such a procrastinator and finish the darn thing sometime soon! I do want to wear it at some point! Plus, I’m not allowing myself to buy any new yarn until I finish this… And if that’s not motivation, I don’t know what is!
April 5- Frogged the first 2 sections because I didn’t like my increases and I wasn’t paying attention to the row, so I completely lost count. Typical. Decided to knit the Rusted Root instead, which has been in my queue for ages.
Used size 4 needles to cast on and knit three rows of ribbing first, rather than pick up at the end. Did a knit cast on, and I’m not sure if I’m liking the results. It’s hard to tell this early on, but I might re-do it later if I absolutely hate it. I’m also thinking I should have done more than 3 rows, but I’m not losing sleep over it. The pattern itself is really well written and I’m liking it a lot so far! Hopefully this will motivate me to finish soon.
March 31- Being a good doobie and using up stash yarn.
Got gauge for sts per inch using size 6 needles, but my rows were off (by 1.5). My rows are usually off, though. I’ll be daring and proceed anyway. I live on the edge like that.
I don’t think I’ll be making buttonholes, but we shall see.
