My husband picked out this pattern as a light summer shirt. I did not feel like this pattern was well written and I questioned multiple times whether it was tested before release. I ended up making a full size smaller — based on the pattern schematics it would be 0 or negative ease. Despite hitting gauge, there was plenty of positive ease left. I found the collar instructions particularly frustrating and have done other collared patterns with imo superior instructions. Overall, the final product was fairly nice, but my biggest frustration was that the ribbing did not actually create a snug or elastic effect, despite sizing down on needles. In hindsight, I wish I had forgone the ribbing on the bottom hem and just continued in pattern to the appropriate length or made significant decreases. Husband loves it, which is the important thing! The yarn was also very nice to work with and didn’t split or cause issues.
