April 7, 2026: Cast on 76 sts on 2.75mm needles. Transferred to 2.25mm needles and knit the sock with it.

72 sts remaining.
Knit to row 30 on 72 sts.
Row 31: k11, k2tog, k10, k2tog, k11 on each magic loop needle.
68 sts remaining. Knit the rest of the sock on 68 sts.
Knit until leg measures 7.25 inches (90 rows from cast on).
DUCATHI heel as in the Tuck Shorties pattern with a 6 st, 12 row gusset.
I need the sock (heel to end of toe) to be 28cm (11 inches) long and the toe to be 5cm (25 rows) long. So, back of the heel to the beginning of the toe needs to be 23cm. I knit 75 rows (15cm, 6inches) after the Ducathi gusset to get these measurements.
25 row toe decreases:
dec, knit 3 rows (32 sts)
dec, kint 2 rows (2 times), 28 sts
alternate row dec 6 times, 16 sts
every row dec 4 times, 8 sts.
Kitchener close.
